Ok, so I wasn't impressed the first visit, but gave it a second chance and it was better. Ordered the head-off shrimp with a spicy hot sauce and it was delicious. The sides were good too. Only item that could of been better was the drinks, I ordered a michelada, but it was pretty nasty. Would return for the food, atmosphere and service but not the drinks.
This is the best restaurant for seafood anywhere. A pound of shrimp comes head on $15, heads off $17 and naked $20. Then you pick the sauce. I get trifecta extra hot w tons of garlic. Sometimes I'll add a potato for 50 cents or a corn for $1 or maybe scallops for $18. They also have crab, lobster and oysters. I want it all.
Overall fun first experience…being a Friday night, loud and boisterous, but festive. The fish and chips were yummy; however, disappointed the waiter didn’t offer beans, coleslaw or potato salad with my order (as pictured on reviews). Boston clam chowder so tasty! Requested checks to be split, but waiter presented only one check; he apologized and returned with two. Unfortunately, not split correctly but worked it out with our family. Drink refills weren’t offered; had to “flag down” the waiter. Wish reservations were available; wait time 30 minutes and not enough chairs in waiting area. We enjoy seafood and will visit again!
