Angeles Mexican Restaurant

Unfortunately one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. Went in for dinner and there was only one other group in the place. Took forever to have our order taken, forever for food to come out, and had to ask again for the tortillas with my wife's dinner. When we finally had our order taken, the waiter looked at the empty tortilla chips and never bothered bringing more. Never bothered refilling waters. And after waiting 10 minutes for him to even come get out credit card to pay our tab, we just got up and went to the register ourselves. You would have thought they were swamped, but the place was virtually empty. Maybe a reason for that. Food was good, but service horrendous.

Chips and salsa are great. Service is terrible. The server we had could care less. Very disappointing. Food is average at best

This seems to be more of a traditional Mexican food restaurant. I was not expecting this. The chips are crispy and lightly salted. The "salsa" is warm and not what I'm used to. It reminds me of tortilla soup. Maybe it is a green tomato salsa. I dunno. I ordered the two enchilada dinner. One cheese and one beef. The beef was not seasoned at all so it had a very plain ground beef flavor. The cheese inside the cheese enchilada was regular cheese but the sauce poured over the enchiladas was not a normal cheese sauce that I'm used to. It was salty, runny, and white. The rice and beans were very good. Cooked correctly (to my taste buds), and flavored nicely. The service was excellent. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
