"Oh, my sweet Lord Jesus..." Never thought food would make me cry!! So much love went into every bite! It tastes like my Mama's cooking, that I miss❣️???????? I literally closed my eyes with the first bite of greens & crispy catfish, yum!! The reviews were spot on! Your food is seasoned to perfection & Service was great!! I see why my friend, London Seabreeze-Crutcher frequently visits your restaurant! I will tell others like she did and I will be back! Thank you & Blessings???? Came here for the first time and my experience was amazing. The place is nice and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It does seem like the place gets extremely busy quickly. I arrived five minutes before opening and there was already a line. Food itself was delicious. Definitely the BEST soul food in the twin cities. I got the catfish, yams, and Mac & cheese and everything was seasoned to perfection!! I would definitely return!! The only con is there is not really any seating. There’s only like four chairs in the entire restaurant. It would be nice if they had more seating inside or outdoor seating.

Gotta start off by saying that this restaurant has some huge sized meal portions! I ordered the jerk turkey leg, fried lobster, and smothered chicken meals. Staff was incredibly friendly and helped me make my decisions as a first time customer. The turkey leg was so tender and the jerk sauce on it made things even better. The fried lobster was amazing! Plenty of lobster meat in that tail and it was so juicy. The rest of my family thoroughly enjoyed the turkey leg and the smothered chicken. Can’t sleep on the delicious sides (high quality baked mac) or the cornbread muffins that come with the meal. Angelea’s is one of the best soul food options you’ll find in Minnesota!
