The food was pretty good especially the chicken quesadilla! Oh so yummy! Wings was perfect just how I like it and the burger was on POINT! Great waitresses, courteous and helpful. There is an option to dine in or on the patio over looking Tampa Bay’s beautiful waters views. The music is vibrant. Great bar and seatings. I’ve been to American social a few times and it’s becoming my favorite spot.
Tampa Bay Restaurant Week. American Social. Located on Harbor Island, this place has a bar vibe and casual dinner vibe combined. A huge and crowded indoor bar as well as a huge outdoor bar and dining area with a waterfront view. Prix-Fixe menu $35 for a 3 course meal. The food surprised me because it was so good. The Loaded Guac, had great textures and flavors. The Seared Scallops were superb, amazing flavor and the rice bed they rested on was complex, textured and had a divine carrot puree hidden beneath. Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter offered up a happy ending. The toughest part is getting in and out in that busy and often chaotic environment. The staff are not much help as it seems they can only give out one piece of information per visit or call. Here is what you need to know. The restaurant offers free validated parking. As soon as you arrive enter the underground parking area. Try to park near the spiral staircase as it is very close to where you need to be. Take your parking
Stopped in for apps before dinner. Sat at the bar with Gracie. She was excellent offered great service and was very prompt. She Suggested the side hustle drink from their signature cocktails and it was amazing! So fresh and light and beautiful garnish. Also got some spinach and artichoke dip on her recommendation which I would highly recommend!! Will be back for sure.
