Amanda's Cantina and Fonda

We ended up eating outside in the evening. It was nice patio seating located creekside. The server was nice and attentive and asked about if details of our order were correct. They also interacted well with our kid. The price was pretty good for the food we got. It's been a while since we've been here but we'd definitely come back!

It's atmosphere is okay. It's hot, no AC inside. The complimentary chips were crumbs, salsa was good though. I ordered chicken enchiladas with red sauce. Not sure exactly what the red sauce was supposed to be, but it tasted like watery tomato sauce with pepper. Portion of beans was so small you couldn't even call it a side. The waiter was absent most of the time. We had to ask someone else to chase down our ticket so we could leave. Was really excited about trying this place. But it wasn't worth it. I was really disappointed. Won't be going back. The outside atmosphere might be beautiful, but not enough to make this place great.

First time visiting here and I really liked it. As a TX girl I have high standards and like a bit for flavor in my Mexican food, but this was good! I had the queso and flautas. The portion sizes are big, the staff friendly and service timely. I sat outside and enjoyed the whole experience. I will come back!
