Loved the food. I would recommend everyone to go and check out the place.
Mix Chat and Dahi Bhallay were good. Doesn't show any Hand Slaughtered Halal Certification though, so avoid meat.
I was introduced to samosas from this market by someone I worked with when I was about 15, who came from Nepal and co-managed a gas station/restaurant where I operated the drive through and inside cash registers of a franchised fried chicken restaurant. It's been over 20 years and I've pretty much visited this place nearly every year, and it still resonates a similar presence, with many things available to easily produce decent results for south Asian food. Rice, tea, naan, seasoning (which is always excellent value,) and kits for recipe ideas, are usually a great place to start, and the restaurant is also excellent to try out. Some of the stores around it have been affected and yet this place is always an iconic reminder of local businesses that need to be supported and they have continued to be beneficial to local communities.
