Below 40 Poke House

Loved eating the food here. Got one of the signature poke bowls and it was superb. Healthy and delicious. I felt like I was literally eating health into my life. The ingredients were super fresh and tasty. Staff was nice enough explain the menu before ordering. Will be back. Thanks!

The best thing about this experience is the wonder older woman who took our order at the front. She was so sweet and patient for it to be our first time coming. I love poke. I have been to several in Dallas. We came to get two bowls to-go for dinner since we were in the area and I should have known as soon as I walked in something would be off. I personally have never been to a poke place that did not make the bowl in front of you. There was a counter and a wall that blocked the view of the bowl making process. The prices are good for the area $14 for a large bowl and it comes with 2 scoops of protein, only 1 sauce (I had to ask if I could have 2 kinds, which she did do for me), only 2 sides and then toppings. Since they don't make the bowl in sight, I didn't see it until I got home. The lady did give us some free house miso, and that is the best thing that I had. The bowl that was $14 was about half full (picture shown), the fish did not taste fresh, the rice tasted old like it wasn't

This was a great experience! The moment we walked in we were greeted warmly, their cheer matching the light and spacious vibe of the place. They were patient as we took a while figuring out orders for kids. The complementary miso was a hit and the bowls were delicious. The only recommendation would be more options for kids bowls’ protein choices. Great environment, friendly service, welcoming decor and good flavours makes this a 5/5 spot for our family!
