This place surprised me! I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and although it didn't taste anything like Tonkatsu it was still very much full of flavor! The only thing I didn't like was the pickled ginger that they put in there. That just does not belong in ramen.
Great staff, but food was okay. We got the Krispy Kreme, dynamite, and the Akari roll. The Krispy Kreme was amazing, not too fried and the cheese was perfectly melted. However, the Akari roll was so so, I wouldn't order again. And the dynamite was pretty bad. The onions brought out the horrible smell of fish.
We really liked the food. Service was good. The environment had a sports-bar vibe to it, maybe it was the numerous TVs. Odd, but I was there for the food. I gave a 3-star because I liked the food, but because the restaurant smelled like cleaning solution/chemicals and didn't blend well with my meal, I opted to be polite and not rate it a 2-star.
