AJ's Pit Bar-B-Q

Really good BBQ. My favorite thing here is the sausage link & beef brisket. I didn’t get to try their beef rib because they were sold out. The custard filled cornbread was ok but not something I would order again. Their house made BBQ sauces are tasty and I appreciate the fresh sliced jalapeños and pickles. I live in Minneapolis and travel the US trying different BBQ joints along the way. A.J.’s Pit BBQ is one of the better places I’ve tried and they should be proud of the BBQ they produce. I would definitely come here again.

The sweet tea was not very....sweet - at least "southern sweet". Was still nice tho. As for everything else? FANTASTIC. Seriously I loved everything and it didn't need any sauce. The beans are also so tasty and the sausage in it is a lovely touch! Will definitely come back whenever I'm craving bbq as it's the best I've had in Colorado so far!

this little hidden gem has some delicious bbq. i asked the gentleman what he would recommend and he said the brisket and the burnt tips with mac n cheese so thats what my husband and i got along with the banana pudding. the brisket and the burnt tips had a beautiful smoky flavor that lingered in your mouth and melted together with the flavor of the meat. now the mac n cheese was ok. i wasn’t a big fan of it but im not sure if the flavor was off because of the truffle or the cheese but i wouldn’t order it again. the banana pudding on the other hand i couldn’t put down. i was surprised by the fresh bananas in the middle and the cookie crumbs at the bottom. we are definitely coming here again.
