Quite small. Much smaller than the pictures led me to believe I guess. The staff was friendly and attentive refilling our waters regularly. Cheese curds were OK to GOOD but not great. The cheese was a bit stiff in the batter when hot still. Burger was good, Milwaukee. Tater tots were a bit too salty for my tastes. I think they are generally salty without adding extra to them. All in all good stop, but I don't think I'll be back....I don't live anywhere around.
Burger bar in downtown Milwaukee on Water Street. Cool place with fun burger options. I went with the double Barrie Burger, which is the famous peanut butter burger. It also has American cheese and bacon. The bottom bun is covered in chunky peanut butter which melts and gives the whole burger a distinct salty and sweet flavor. Burgers are tasty but not huge, as a bigger guy I would always get a double. Fries were great too.
The wait was longer than I was anticipating.. but it was worth it. My boyfriend and I stopped here after landing in Milwaukee on our way to Green Bay. The atmosphere was awesome. The peanut drop was so fun! We sat at the bar and had the most decadent bloody Mary, a meal in itself. I would definitely add this as a must for anyone coming into town.
