This is the first time I was at this restaurant. The steak is AMAZING, perfectly cooked with a delectable char/crust that keeps the juiciness of the steak locked in. The au gratin potatoes are equally as awesome. The Cole slaw is award winning and rightfully so. Get yourself some of this food now! Seriously right now.
The place looks nice but there complications....first there was a problem with our reservations...which the manager fixed it..once there it nice but this baby keep screaming it was 9p.m...the waitress was a bit deceiving...the salad dressing were nasty and my pork chop was still raw in the middle so I just took my food to go and finish cooking it at home...my experience wasn't the best and I was really excited so that was a big let down...also it was my 15th year anniversary.... Don't know if I'll be back...I gave 3 stars because the food was good once I finished cooking it and the manager fixed the reservation problem..
Service was friendly. It took a bit long to get our order taken and delivered to our table. I'm thinking they didn't have the staff to cover the influx of patrons. Couple of things: 1. I ordered au gratin potatoes and they delivered garlic potatoes. 2. I ordered a medium steak and it was well done. 3. It took a bit long for us to get drinks and then to get our dinner. Again, the service was friendly but there were a few hang ups with the experience.
