Very authentic mexican restaurant, lot of veggie options in the menu and the portion size was huge. We tried veggie fajitas and burritos, both of them were very yummy. Drink was delicious as well. Absolutely recommend this place if you are near Willow Glen area in San Jose. Vegetarian options: This restaurant has a separate section for veggie options in the menu
Adelita's was just alright. Came here seeing the high reviews but fell short of expectations. For one, the wait time was very high (despite not being crowded), having to wait over 30 minutes for a couple of burritos. The complimentary chips and salsa was stale and bland, we just had a few. The burritos were decent (super veggie and vegan plantain in photos) and filling but nothing special. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this place, there are plenty of other great Mexican spots in the area.
With 1900+ reviews and 4+ rating(at the time of writing), it seems like you can’t go wrong with this place and it definitely delivered! The salsa, guacamole was amazing! And there’s plenty of veggie/vegan options too.. we went mid-week and there was no wait.. Since everything is made fresh, allocate a little more time when you get here to soak the ambience and food!
