Just left there after ordering a two meat combo (chicken and ribs) with potato salad and a loaded baked potato for $28. The chicken was a drumstick and thigh, dry as a bone, about the size of a Cornish hen. Extremely small. Ribs were the usual disgusting thing you find in San Jose, where they think BBQ means pour some sauce over some dried out, poorly seasoned pork. I paid for my soft drink and walked out And I'll never go back. This place went from amazing to garbage over the last year. It's gotten noticeably worse every time I've gone back. This was the first trip in months, and it's inedible now.
Placed a pick up order through the restaurants website and received confirmation email to pick at at 3:03pm. When we arrived for pick up, at least 3 employees walked past without acknowledging we were even there standing by the takeout sign/the kitchen and bar entrance, literally walking through us. When they finally acknowledged us, we were told they had no orders for pick up. We showed the confirmation email and the worker said that it was weird but the ticket may have not printed bc they were out of wings (one of two items on the order). They called the owner and said they could refund or we could wait for them to make the order and offered the chicken strips as an alternative to the buffalo wings. We decided to wait. The order was ready in about 15 minutes. But the tenders were horrible. The oil definitely needs to be changed in their fryer. Overall, the staff was extremely unprofessional. The only helpful one was the Caucasian gentleman behind the bar that looked the most busy, co
The Hubs and I pass this place almost daily and we decided to finally stop in for a bite. So glad we did!!! The French dip was tender and bursting with flavor along with the fresh garlic fries!! I had the sausages with Carolina mustard and homemade Mac and cheese!! WOW!!! Such a perfectly roasted sausage with a great snap in every bite. Juicy and full of Smokey flavor, I’m hooked!! The calamari had the perfect amount of breading and was deep fried to perfection. The deep fried sliced jalapeños served with it were a welcome addition. Cindy was our server and she was a delight. Quick, efficient, helpful and happy to assist us with our selections. The Cindie’s spicy margarita was delish and the Hubs beer was cold with great foam and lacing. The decor is definitely dated but I loved it. I’m a midwest girl that loves down home BBQ house/diner feel. Although dated and old decor it was impeccably clean and well preserved. I’ll definitely be back again and again. So happy to have found a frien
