The food was fresh and hot. One order is enough for 2 people, but I recommend getting your own for leftovers.
Service was friendly and quick. Food came out quickly and hot. The hot tea is from a bag and is different than what you would expect, but not great or terrible. The food was aesthetically pleasing and well-cooked, but had little flavor. West-lake soup was watered down, pork w/ bamboo shoots had little flavor/salt, chicken dry-pot had little chicken and light flavor, clams had mostly shell and less meat (good taste), salt and pepper shrimp was cooked very well, yet it lacked the salt and pepper to taste well, and green beans were the same deal. Overall not great to other competition.
The food here is 100% authentic, and draws quite a lot of the local Chinese community. It tastes great, and honestly has quite good value for the portion size. Owner is also very nice, gifted a free appetizer!
