Abbott's Bar & Grill

Abbotts was my favorite neighborhood bar in the Johns Creek area. It had a lot of character and was a cozy place to relax after a hard days work. I work a couple blocks away and would frequent this place multiple times a week. We even had one of our company Christmas parties in the back room a couple years back! Awesome times. Well, life happened and I wasn’t able to visit for a few months. Tonight was my first time back and it sure was an underwhelming experience. They’ve gutted out 90% of the old interior and replaced it with generic modern decor. The place is void of all the old character it had. It’s now just uncomfortable metal chairs, no booths, and a wide open space that has terrible acoustics. It was a very uncomfortable experience and I left after one drink. What a shame. This place was great. I didn’t even stay to see if the food was still of the same quality. I likely won’t be back.

They recently renovated (06/21/22) and it makes sense the interior is empty. But regardless they have great service and food. Tiramisu had this hot cake and cold layer cream on them.
