I’m typing this as I finish eating it! This food is delicious!!! I heard great things about it, so I had to try it for myself and and I’m beyond grateful I did. Super friendly and professional staff and very reasonable! Plus, you get your money’s worth if not more! If you came to the review section to help decide to eat here or not, let this be your sign to do it!!

So my family and I stopped in before they closed down temporarily for redoing their menu and fell in love. I was actually counting down the days until they opened again. The lady that’s up front is so sweet and don’t even get me started on the food! Their meat is so tender and delicious, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This a slimy place. The owners tries to pursue every woman who enters this restaurant. It is very uncomfortable to come with the intention to dine and support a black business only to be disrespected. One of the owners obtained my telephone number from the credit card transaction and begun sending text messages asking when I would visit the restaurant again to see him. The second owner greeted me by saying “I was going to cuss you out if you didn’t come in here with a smile.” This is totally disrespectful and unprofessional. I will not be returning. It’s unfortunate that women cant patronize black establishments without being harassed by the male owners. Stay away from this place if you have any respect or dignity for yourself or women. There are better Jamaican food restaurants in Kansas City and with better service. Don’t waste your time or money in this restaurant.
