1492 New World Latin Cuisine

My family took me here for Father’s Day this afternoon and all I can say is this is an undiscovered gem. They serve Latin cuisine but you can get more basic Mexican type fare as well. We will definitely be coming back in the future. A nice dining experience, not too loud, temp is comfortable and you don’t feel rushed to clear the table. Sara, our server, was delightful and we had a great conversation with her before leaving. Recommend you give 1492 a try on your next outing, it won’t disappoint and you may just find a new favorite dining place.

First off. The decor was giving latin vibes all the way. The food was amazing, so hot damn good! On top of that it was fast like 10mins after we ordered. Sebastian was our waiter kool kid made us feel comfortable "1st timers" Now them drinks ???????????????????? are on point. When you get one you'll ???? what I mean. I'm going to hate sharing this review w you all enjoy

This used to be one of our favorite places. We came in for taco Tuesday ordered our usual. My first drink was nothing but ice. I accepted it and said I’ll take another if you can promise it’s not all ice. She comes back, same thing. Told me the owners wife (blonde lady) was behind the bar and she told her but she made it the same. We sent it back and this is where I’m super disappointed in the character and customer service of this woman. She came took my drink, scooped the ice out of the top and brought it back. 3/4ths if even that full. Terrible customer service and for an owner? I’ve lost disrespect for this location n Their tacos are incredible. I’m disappointed I have to write this but I hope it changes something down the road. Do yourself a favor and go to the midtown location.
