Zest was an easy walk from the hotel. I am vegan so I was delighted to have a plant based restaurant as a dining option. I ordered the nachos as they seemed to be a popular choice because everyone around us had a plate. They were good…the cheese, vegan “meat” and fresh ingredients were tasty. My husband ordered the Korean burger which he thought was okay. Flavor profile was good but the lentil patty was a little mushy. He also ordered the poblano soup which he thought was more like a broth. The margaritas, service and atmosphere were great!
Really tasty. Vegan food can be intimidating for those like me trying to make better choices. All the food was very good and would love to try all their other menu items.
First of all, I should disclose that I am a happy carnivore. Zest kitchen is 100% vegan and gluten-free. This is why we came. My hot date is vegan and has a gluten sensitivity. She was so excited to be able to order anything off the menu I had nachos the stuffed jalapeños and the avocado, toast. It was freaking delicious! I also had the top shelf margarita and it was also amazing. If you’re not vegan and you want to get a good bite to eat with your vegan pals. Well here’s your spot. If you’re vegan and gluten-free; welcome to heaven.
