Friends had recommended this place for a long time, but I had been hesitant. Though not strictly vegetarian, I have been told by doctors to limit consumption of meat. So meat-heavy Turkish food was never a choice when I dined out. However, I decided to give it a try with my family, on a hot summer weekend. Not to judge the quality of meat, overall food was surprisingly good, fresh and cool, especially the desserts. Also the Turkish rice was very tasty. I really like how everything was delicately flavored and balanced. Unlike the overly hearty (if not greasy) Italian food, I feel I can really have more Turkish food in summer.
Went for the first time. The place is great in every way. Best Turkish food I ever had. Definitely going back.... often! Prices fair as well. They don't wreck you. Went to the one on Forest Avenue. The one that just opened some months back. They have another on Hylan Blvd. Two thumbs up. Parking: Good amount of parking just across the street from the place.
Placed a take out order for over 20 people for a family gathering and all the food containers were not sealed properly. It was a major embarrassment in front of my guests to provide messy and greasy plates. An order of over $700 arrived just like how you see in the photos. All plates are not sealed and grease is all over. I'm sure they were thrilled to make the money on such large order but they couldn't bother to make sure the order is packed the right way. I do not support businesses that do not care about their quality of service or their customers' satisfaction. Therefore, I will not be ordering from this place ever again. By the way the food is sub-par and isn't anything special.
