Zappone's Italian Bistro

Ordered lobster diavolo to go. Received wide noodle pasta with one and only one shrimp without any lobster. What was received was filling and it had a spicy sauce to it. But I expected more at that price point. Especially since it was a birthday meal and a Father’s Day meal in one. The garlic bread was not very flavorful and without garlic. So lack of points there. On the good side another person ordered the eggplant Parmesan and enjoyed that. So maybe lesson learned is that if going to this place… don’t order the expensive items. Stick with the cheaper items. And then your expectations won’t be as high and you might even like it. Not a place to go for a special event.

This place is MUCH more than your typical pizza joint. A family owned and operated bistro with incredible good food and very well priced. The service was very personal and the staff made the visit was very pleasant. We highly recommend this place and we lucked out not knowing it was "Wine down Wednesday" when a bottle of ny wine is 1/2 off standard pricing. BTW It's very clean and nicely decorated.

I wanted to be able to leave a positive rating. The owners and staff were very nice, however, I picked up a pizza and the bottom was terribly burned…. I called and talked to the owner and I felt as though she blew me off. She offered to make me another pizza but I was already home and settled for the evening. I offered to send pictures and she was not interested. She said she would talk to the cooks! ????
