Zap! Taco House

Zap! Taco House was great! Friendly and efficient staff, cool interior design, and a variety of delicious tacos!! I had the Bird Boy, Barnyard Lu’au, and Red Skull - all of which were fantastic. Also, the complimentary chips and salsa were salty perfection. Definitely will return!

3-18-22 update We came back and they had everything on yhe menu! I got to try the red skull and the barnyard lu'au along with the hulk smash. I also picked up the special fish taco, which is basically the whippersnapper with cod. Everything came out warm and tasted great, service was very good as well. We had a couple hiccups but nothing noteworthy. I do have to say the red skull was pretty darn good. They are definitely getting in the swing of things!! Thanks again. Let me preface this review with; we came in a larger group and they have only been open for like a month. This isnt a chain or anything, so there will be some growing pains. Onto the review. The drinks weren't really that good and the pina colada was pretty small and mostly flavorless. We also tried the horchata milkshake and it was one of the smallest milkshakes I've ever seen for 6$. I was really bummed out that they were out of the "limited" tacos 3 hours after opening but the waitress said they didnt get thier shipment

Surprised to find a unique taco experience in the historic part of Mokena. Great, friendly service. Fun atmosphere that all ages would enjoy. Wonderful flavors in the food & tasty margaritas (you can taste all of the ingredients, including the flavor of Espolon tequila- though for me, I’ll order a large with an extra shot next time). Looking forward to returning in the near future to see what else they perfect on their menu!
