Such a great experience! Came here for dinner with my mom and everything was perfect. The decor is whimsical and colorful and the food is amazing! Our server Alok was super attentive and prepared for us the best chai we have had in ages! My mom lives very close by so this will be our new spot!
I was really looking forward to some good Indian food. The interior decoration looked welcoming and the place smelled amazing as I was walking by. Very promising. However, I asked for a spicy sauce and it was mild at best. Meat was a touch dry. Sauce could have been reduced more. Flavors were mild, dulled down version of the real deal. Staff seemed more worried about closing then the guests. Couple minor tweaks and the place could be great.
4.5/5 stars Really want to rate 5 stars because the food is spectacular. The entrees are made to authentic Indian taste with the perfect level of spice. We got Chicken tikka masala, malai kofta and dal makhani. Entrees were well made and tasty!! Our appetizer malai chicken was also good but I think the paneer tikka looked better (well charred). Definitely will try next time. The reason I take the .5 stars off is because the garlic naan. It left more to be desired, since this goes with most entrees I wish the naan was better. Not sure if it was the quality or was just not cooked enough. It was more chewy and rubbery than most garlic naans I have had before
