yum! Kitchen and Bakery

Yum is my favorite neighborhood restaurant in St. Louis Park. It’s a fantastic counter service restaurant that is open from morning until night. I often go to grab lunch, it seems to be their busiest time of day. I almost always order the tuna melt. It is one of their signature items and it is one of the best tuna melts I have ever had! It comes with house made potato chips and a pickle and is a lot of food! Yums menu consists of signature items that have been on the menu for years as well as new items that change seasonally. They also have a great kids menu, and it’s a great spot to bring kids. Mine love the Mac and cheese (and so do I). However my daughters favorite thing to order would have to be their Matzo Ball soup, it’s one of the best! It’s also a great spot to grab take out! The whole menu can be to-go and they even do family size dinners to-go. The bakery case at Yum has to be one of the best in the city! Yum is right! I went here for the first time today and had my first ever lobster sandwich. It was amazing. The place was packed for lunch, but the staff were efficient and friendly. The menu is tantalizing. The bakery counter has so many treats to choose from too. Heck, even the dang side pickle was delicious!

This was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a quick breakfast spot for a lunch date. Glad we stopped here. So cute and refreshing. The staff was great and attentive.
