Searched for a cool place before going to see L7 at the Regent across the street… This was absolutely on point and even better during happy hour! Tasty Asahi beer, lightly breaded Fish and chips (not usual fries… great!) and tempura lightly fried broccoli were perfect and very well priced. Vegan / gluten-free cookie with an easy water Americano spot on! Perfect way to start the evening after a 90 minute drive from South Orange County. Staff was excellent as well and atmosphere/music was perfect. Thank you!!
Charming and picturesque little spot with tasty food! Tried bbq fish plate — came with a little cup of soup, some sushi rolls, salad, and dessert (definitely an adequate portion size). Also had the DIY hand rolls — so fun and interactive. The best part of the meal was the mint lemonade, 5 stars just for that!!
I love coming here. When you enter your eyes start to feast on the interior of gorgeous plants and random paintings before you even look at the menu. The menu is big but all the items are full of flavor and bright colors. I was super sad when the curry kitchen around the corner closed but so happy that many of those menu items moved back to the flagship location. Portions are VERY generous, be prepared to leave in a food coma and definitely get a cookie to go. Their cookie selection is very unique and every cookie is soft and chewy like someone’s mom made it for the school bake sale. The neighborhood has a lot of character so take care where you park but there is plentiful street parking just in front of the restaurant. Enjoy!
