Your Place Diner

Stopped by on a Saturday and they only had a limited entree and sides which was disappointing because we came here based off the full menu. We ordered some fish plates with cheese fries, spaghetti, and baked beans. The fish was sooo delicious and the spaghetti! Their cheese had a nice spice to it, the baked beans could have been better but tasted ok. Would love to come when we can get some mac & cheese, yams, cabbage. The service was great, nice and friendly. The place was clean and looked good with a full bar.

When a waitress finally came over, she got one of the orders wrong, said she would fix it and never returned to the table. Instead of giving each person their order, she just put all the orders on the table. Very unprofessional. I lived down South, this is not how it is done. This place claims to be a soul food kitchen. I was expecting to experience the nostalgia of memories. Instead, we experienced the experience of being treated as if we did not exist. The food was ok. Thank you, Mr. D for your reply! Knowing you care enough to quickly respond I am adding a star to this review. Yes, I was at the 1st year Anniversary and that played a lot into my expectations of service. I did not know until now, the waitresses were untrained volunteers. Thank you for your offer of a free dinner. Looking forward to revisiting your diner!

Omg I love this place and they treat you so well king was super nice and this mom was also .. feels so good to get great customer Service and the FOOD ?!? Lord Jesus super delicious I had fried chicken with Mac& cheese , yams , collard greens, cornbread ..please check them out and they black owned so that was a good thing .. I will be back next Sunday ..
