Always busy and always good food. The food portions are generous. The drinks are bottle only. There is patio seating. If you want extra tzatiki it is a bit extra. Overall a healthy and better option than most other places.
Such an awesome place! I've been to the location in Mesquite many years ago, but this was my first time going to this location. The atmosphere and vibe are what you might expect from a small, family owned restaurant. It's tiny, but cozy. The walls are decorated with silly truisms or light-hearted jokes as well as chronicling the family's history. The staff are so kind and provide great service. They'll happily answer any questions you may have. Finally (and most importantly,) the food is spectacular!! I've been to about a dozen Mediterranean/gyro restaurants in DFW and this certainly is in the top 3. You'd be hard pressed to find such quality food for the price. Vegetarian options: Vegetarians, look elsewhere. Kid-friendliness: Not necessarily kid-centric, but they would not feel unwelcome by any means. Parking: There is usually plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant with several handicap spaces right out front.
Fantastic experience! It may look unassuming from the outside but once you step inside you are greeted with quaint homemade decor and amazing food/service. I always go for a traditional euro platter and I was not disappointed. I've had authentic gyros in Greece and these were the same quality. Server was very kind and personable and also gave us complementary loukoumades before our long road trip! I'm not easily impressed and I rarely leave a restaurant feeling so satisfied. Definitely give this place a try.
