This place was packed before a Tampa Bay Lightning game and we entered with low expectations, but wanted to at least grab a drink after our long drive over from the beach. Well we walked in just as two people were leaving and not only got a drink immediately, but were able to order food which came out quickly. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Impressive!!! BONUS: You can catch the pre-game show while you enjoy your dinner!
Nice quirky little spot in downtown Tampa. It’s got an English pub name, though you’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting a traditional English pub. Still a great spot to have a drink while watching a game. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty quiet but only because there weren’t any games going on until the evening. They had a good selection of beers, both on tap and bottled. I can’t speak for the food as we only had drinks. They have both an inside and outside (open air but still covered) bar. Would love to go back when a game is on to experience the atmosphere.
Our son picked this place to meet for dinner when we were visiting and boy was ita great choice! It was very lively, modern, open and chic as we walked up (see pictures) and it only got better from there. We initially ordered the Scotch Eggs and all thought they were great. We had a hard time deciding on the main course (so many great looking dishes to choose from), but I eventually settled on the UK Meatloaf (see picture). I'm not a huge meatloaf fan, but this was fabulous - so light, crumbly and delicious that I was sad when it was gone. If you do only one thing while here, do NOT leave without having The Yeoman Dessert (see picture). That sticky toffee pudding just might be the best dessert I've had ever and the rest were also delicious.
