Wondering about all the Google reviews! Some may be known by the restaurant owner! Went to this Yemeni restaurant based on Google reviews, honestly, we're very disappointed . Food quality and the overall environment are below standard. The server took the wrong order and overcharged us. All together not a good experience. First and last visit period. Not recommended!!!

Food is great, 4 stars for food. But the service is really what pushes this extra bit to 5 stars, the server was very warm and respectful. The owner also came over and asked us how our food was and is engaged in providing great service. The restaurant was clean and presentable. They bring you complementary cup of soup broth that came with a spicy mix in that made for a rich spicy soup. Ordered the tray for 2 which came with two different lamb dishes, one that came bubbling hot served in a ceramic dish with charred and soft pliable bread, and half a small chicken; all served on a bed of rice with a few chunks of potatoes and carrots. All the meat was well seasoned and spoonably tender, the quality of the meat was high and didn’t have too much fat. The prices were good, as the portions were very generous, so expect delicious leftovers. The Yemeni tea is a must try, a sweet fragrant black tea with spiced. We will be returning very soon!

The food is halal and very delicious. The service is beyond exceptional!! The owner is very very sweet. He stayed open late for us during Ramadan. One time he even delivered food to our home 20 mins away from the restaurant. This family friendly restaurant is a must try!!! You will miss out if you don’t try Yemeni restaurant in Columbus.
