The brown stew chicken is amazing! I was hooked the first time I tried it. Me and my wife had to come back again. We met the chef and he was real cool and nice.
Good food, lovely people, but (sigh) TOXIC CONTAINERS. Styrofoam was melted, contaminating my $15 breakfast . Smh. It’s 2022– time to step up and choose biodegradable containers that won’t poison us/our planet. Ital is vital, y’all
I had an amazing experience, so much that I visited twice in one week. They had great music playing, service was excellent, the good will have me driving from Baton Rouge fairly often just to pick up a couple plates. Most of all there was consistency in the flavor. I ordered the oxtail plate and the curry goat plate with rice n peas and callaloo. It comes with fried plantain. I was also finally to find some Grace's Strawberry Syrup. Icing on the cake!
