Xochimex Cantina Grill

The night staff is incredible. I have a Cantina two minutes from my house on 137 Avenue and 152nd. I travel 20 minutes to this Cantina because it is the best in Miami. The cheese is so good you don’t need chips and they are incredibly consistent. Highly recommended!

I’ve had them forget my cookie once and today they forgot the meat in my bowl. I understand you can run out of ingredients but then call the customer or when we show up ask us if we would like something else. But, getting home, thinking everything is great and realizing youre missing something is disappointing. Also, from the perspective of a food delivery person. They used to be on point. The last couple times I’ve even accepted orders from there I have cancelled once I’m in and I see all the other delivery people waiting. I actually do ask about my order just in case and sometimes they haven’t even started. On the left side of the counter there’s a glass barrier and if you go there you will often see the Uber or DoorDash orders just sitting there. I think it would serve them and their customers to have a dedicated online order employee who focuses on those orders. The three stars if because the food is good and so is the quantity for the price.

One of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever ordered from. I’m Mexican and just moved to Miami. I’ve been hoping to find good Mexican restaurants and this is NOT it.They got part of our order wrong. The nachos pictured look completely different than what we received. It was essentially just chips with meat on top. The food has a terrible after taste and part of it was burnt. You can make better food at home. Don’t waste your time and money ordering from this place.
