The food is good but the service is what will make me come back. I had a special request and they obliged without complaint. The staff was happy to help and assist with any questions, concern, or request we had. I recommend mixing both the lemonades if you go here! Mac and cheese was great too. Oh, and add ham to your Italian, you will thank me later. :) Kid-friendliness: Great kid meal options, our kid loved the mac and cheese. 200% better than blue box. Great first experience, I didn't expect it to be so small inside. But small places can be great! It was busy during lunch, but the line moved well enough, and the wait wasnt too long once we ordered. The pastrami sandwich was so good! It was nice that it was warm and crisp but the inside bread was not soggy. The meat was shaved thin, and had a lot of flavor. The clam chowder was good, it did have a plain unseasoned flavor but maybe that's just clam chowder... the turkey sandwich was good, the house sauce on it was tangy and yummy. The dill pickle was good. The sourdough bread was delicious! Staff was very friendly, bathroom was clean. Restaurant was clean. Didn't try a cookie but they looked yummy. We may have found our favorite sandwich place! Kid-friendliness: Kids would have several choices of things to eat. Parking: A lot of parking available

I didn’t know what I was hungry for as I drove through the parking lot. Something drew me in. When I entered, I scanned the menu, but didn’t know what I wanted until the Sandwich Seer of Avondale appeared from the back. She looked me up and down and proposed turkey and roast beef atop their homemade sourdough and house made sauce. The perfect combo! I filled up on the sandwich delighted with each bite. A truly wonderful experience! Thanks!
