Working Man's Friend

So I’ve been eating burgers here for years. As far as smash burgers go, this is top tier. The atmosphere transcends time and this place has certainly gained legendary status. Deducted a star for the lack of fries I was served yesterday. Seriously, like a small handful on the tray looked like a joke. Everything else is top notch, including the amazing service. But come on guys, quit being stingy with the fries.

Very good food. The place is small looking and not much to look at from the outside, but inside is like an old time diner. I took a picture of the cigarette vending machine. It's not filled but it had been such a long time since I had seen one, I just had to take a pic. I got a cheeseburger and (in my opinion) the best onion rings ever!!!! Our waitress was attentive and very nice. It wasn't very busy in there when we went today. It's actually bigger inside than you'd think from the outside.

Had this place on my list for a while now and boy was I not disappointed. Hopped in yesterday for an early dinner and it was just fabulous. Had a double cheese burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was the best I had in a while now. The fries could have been better with some extra seasoning ????. All in all loved the food and the service, will be back for more.
