Wood Cafe Thai Cuisine

My experience today was unpleasant, but I gave three stars for an average over the last 3 years or so. We have generally enjoyed their food, but the portions aren't consistent. Sometime last year, I ordered red curry as a lunch special, but got a small amount of curry. There was another time earlier this year, that the sweet and sour chicken lunch special had almost no chicken in it. So, we have often ordered a la carte main dishes in a 3 cup (24 oz.) container. It's more expensive that way, but we would get more of the main food consistently, since they would fill it to the top of the container. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN TODAY. When I placed the phone order, I emphasized that the a la carte curry chicken comes in a LARGE container to confirm (since I don't usually order from the person helping me on the phone and he seemed somewhat unsure). Once it seemed we were in agreement, I placed the phone order. I turned out that the curry chicken was in a smaller container (2 cups). I had an old

NOW THIS IS MORE LIKE IT! BBQ RIBS, Delicious, TASTY & TENDER, SHRIMP PAD THAI Very Good & Golf Cooked the EGGPLANT With GOUND PORK TO PERFECTION! GOLF was also engaging and willing to please his clientele. He does not take his customers for granted like some other Thai Restaurant owners do in the area do. GOLF even asked what THAI Condiments I wanted. None of the others even offer or forget. Thanks! For delicious Food GOLF & the attentive customer service.

This is hands down my favorite Thai place in town. Everything is good but I usually stick with my regular; yellow curry and pad see ew.
