Our experience started out a bit strange, but our server was awesome! We had called ahead, specifically asked if we needed a reservation and were told no. When we arrived the restaurant was hardly half full. The hostess asked us if we had reservations, we said no. She proceeded to walk us outside to the patio. When I asked if we could sit inside, as it was 92 degrees outside, she said no. Not sure if we were not dressed nice enough or what. So, it was a bit warm but we made the best of it. Like I said at the beginning our server, Kelli, was so pleasant, helpful, and friendly. On to the food and drinks. Remember I said we tried to make the best of it, well that started with a couple Bloody Marys ???? We then ordered the roasted garlic fries, with our server's recommendation of getting the aioli sauce... Umm! We also ordered the beet salad, shrimp Rigatoni, and grilled chicken. We had just completed an 8.5 mile hike, so we were hungry, don't judge. All the food was delicious and we were

This is a unique situation. The food was good and the service was outstanding, but the whole experience just felt kind of dumpy. The place is very dated and not specifically clean. The floor has probably not been attended to since it was first laid down, and the cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling bothered. The decor looks like it is a hodgepodge of things from the local flea market, and not in the modern trendy way. The huge volume of dead bugs laying in the basins of the overhead lights grossed me out. On the other hand, the service was top-notch. The prices were excessive though, given the environment of the restaurant itself. Hopefully they can get it together, because there’s a lot of potential.

Celebrated a memorable birthday evening in this tony grill and enjoyed our visit completely. We settled in with a pair of starter cocktails, impeccably prepared Dewar's Rob Roys, after which our waitress offered an engaging, dizzying recitation of the night's dinner specials; I counted eleven, which seemed impressively odd both for a restaurant to sport so many and for the lady to recount them in such detailed oratory from memory. For hours before our reservation, Birthday Boy had had his heart set on a rack of barbeque ribs; Wild Garlic did not disappoint. I enjoyed a massive plate of cod and vegetables. Birthday cheesecake and after-dinner coffee followed. We ended the evening utterly satisfied and sorely stuffed. Dish prices fall within the $28 to $60 window, and the experience is thoroughly worth your while. We're already planning our next trip back. See you there!
