We got called for a water loss in commercial building here in Tampa. Outstanding, best barbecue i have ever had in Florida, the pulled brisket was deeply smoky with just a hint of sweet, some nice bits of crisp chewy bark, came accompanied by texas toast and some really marvelous dipping sauces. The pulled pork sandwich was perfect, a tall pile of pork on a buttered bun, sounds simple right? I mean its just smoked pork, on a buttered roll whats so incredible about that ? Thats exactly right, its so simple, almost anyone can make that, not everyone can make that a work of art. Dont believe me ? Go ahead order one, you will be amazed at how good a simple pulled pork sandwich can be. I also got a side if Mac n Cheese that was alos spot on perfect, the noodles were slightly more cooked than al dente, swimming in gooey cheese seasoned with course grain black pepper. Om nom nom !!! This place is outstanding barbecue.
Truly unbelievable food. Hands down the best BBQ in Tampa and probably the whole state. Staff and cooks/smokers are amazing. They always go the extra mile if you need anything. One of the cooks/smokers named Dean was super knowledgeable and helped me pick the wings on my first visit. And I’ve gotten them again every time since. 10/10 would recommend.
No sliced brisket except Fri/Sat, otherwise only “pulled brisket”, which was tough as leather, with strong vinegar plus strong oak. Honestly horrid. They only have 4 sweet sauces to pick from, which makes sense given the quality if the brisket. The “apple” bbq sauce was consistency of solid corn syrup. Regrets at $16 single serving of meat.
