White Fence Farm

I stopped in for a couple sides. I’ve always loved their chicken (kind of bland now) and fritters are best thing on menu.But I ordered cole slaw and Mac n cheese. The Cole slaw was so bland. It’s was like shaved purple cabbage with watered down Mayo. ????The Mac and cheese needed salt, pepper. Very bland. Never had a cheese sauce salt free.???? Avoid those sides if you can.

Just wish that there was much more consistency in both cooking their menu items, and how they prep the cole slaw as well as how it's assembled re: ratio of vinegar in the slaw 'sauce' ~ one visit, it's perfectly balanced & therefore delicious ~~~ and other visits, it's nearly pure vinegar instead !!! Cleaning the fryers/change out the cooking oil more frequently should address that issue.

We used to go to the main restaurant when I was a child. I haven’t been their in years but i get take out from Riverside when I want chicken. Its battered just enough and deeper fried not too long so the chicken stays juicy. You guys are the only place that can make a proper corn fritter. Great food brings back great memories.
