Met there for a brunch for our small group. Brunch food was delicious. I am generally not a fan of brunches because most of the time, the food is just subpar. I actually will go back for their brunch. Food was on point. The waiter kept disappearing. I'm not sure why. Other than that, it was a great place to meet with a small group without huge wait time
I sure am a fan of Whiskey Cake, Las Colinas. The restaurant is busy at all times and its best to make a reservation, if you plan on heading there for an evening of drinks and dinner. Ambience : Its usually noisy and crowded in the evenings but that adds to the fun. There are indoor and outdoor seating options and I recommend making a reservation, if you want to avoid a long wait. Lots of parking available. Drinks : They have a full service bar with a lot of beer options. Their collection of Whiskey that is brewed inhouse is pretty good. I tried a couple and found them to be really smooth. Food : Their appetizers and salads are quite good. Ordered the Salmon and the Switch up Sandwich - both were well made. For dessert, you have to try the Whiskey Cake - it's sinfully delicious! Service : Can be a bit slow when the restaurant is crowded. This also leads to forgotten orders and incorrect orders reaching the table. Pricing : Moderate high, not too pricey for the nice ambience and
First time visiting this restaurant and I was definitely not disappointed. I had the green beans to start with and they were amazing. Wasn’t ready for the spice but found out why they’re blistering, almost wanted to order more. For lunch I had the bone in pork chop and it was well worth it. So tender I didn’t need a knife to cut it. I was on lunch break or I would’ve had a couple whiskeys. Talk about almost 200+, if you enjoy whiskey bourbons you name it they have them. I will def be revisiting to try more food items and enjoy their collection of whiskeys.
