I’m not a dessert guy but the Whiskey Cake at Whiskey Cake is the best dessert I’ve ever had. The cold house made whipped cream with the caramel sauce and the candied pecans is to die for. The food is also amazing. We are big bourbon people. The Texas bourbon flight and the Old Fashioned are a must try!

Your absolute money's worth. Perfect spot for anyone especially those who have felt jilted by the service at other places. For reference. I'm a level two sommelier specializing in high touch service in the Houston area. If someone asked me where the best service in Houston was I'd say the Michelin pedigreed restaurant in the museum district. Then after that id say Whiskey cake at Stafford. I have been to this location twice. Margaret was an excellent manager who made sure my first visit to this location was excellent. Now recently I took my mother here after a terrible experience at a high end oyster place...just drove right across town. Madison was our server. Madison did an excellent job of attending to our table...u can clearly observe that whiskey cake methodically takes care of their guests service needs. Any issue is met with multiple members of the staff handling it as a top priority. Also it merits saying that the bartending team at this location is one of the most talented in

Smooth as Whiskey! We made a reservation both visits and were seated immediately upon arrival. The first visit the atmosphere was really nice, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious. I had the pork ribs with mac and cheese and my husband had the ribeye steak with fries. We also had some adult drinks that were just too strong for us. Cost around $106. Our second visit was meh. Our seating placement wasn't great (behind the host station), the food was just meh not much flavor, but the service was great. I had the Birra smashburger and it was not good at all. My husband had the Steak Fritters those was just okay. The kids had the Double burger(ok), Chicken Melt sandwich (not enough salt and messy to eat) and tenders (good). Cost around $130.
