Whataburger

Within the past year we have moved here, we've come about 4 or 5 separate times. At different times of the day, different days of the week. Every single time is about 30 minute waits or more and never has improved. We always use the drive up as we have 2 very small children. As much as we crave whataburger, we prefer to avoid it amd have to choose something else.

Today I had a hankering for Whataburger for lunch. I already had it in my mind that we would be waiting in line, as we always do, for a good 20 minutes or so. And when we drove up to the drive thru to find it wrapped, we knew we were in it for the long haul. HOWEVER, we ended up getting right through! The employee took our payment and within a few minutes brought everything out to us. Hooray for miracles! I know it sounds degrading, but today was a rare occasion to get our food and get out of line. I’m grateful! Husband tried the smoked bacon burger while I ordered the smoked bacon chicken (original). It is a new item on the menu. The board says it has a tangy sauce, I’d say it’s more of a spicy sauce than tangy. Maybe I’ll have them omit it next time since I don’t like a lot of sauce in the first place. We both enjoyed our meal. Our fries were fresh from the grease too. The staff was friendly and polite. Our order was ready in a timely manner. As well as Made correctly. Thanks and remember to treat customers how you would like to be treated. If you wouldn't eat it don't serve it to others.
