They have flies! I really didn't enjoy my food because there were little flies everywhere! I had to move tables twice because they were really bad by the bar area. The pho and the Thai iced tea were okay, not the best. The crab cheese wonton was pretty good. The service was great. They just need to get the bugs under control! No one wants to eat with bugs flying all around you. It's disgusting!
I had the veggie pho, and it was amazing! Noodles were perfectly cooked, broth was complex, and veggies were delicious! I was a little nervous after reading some other reviews. It was fairly busy when I went but not crazy. Staff was efficient. If you are looking for tasty, reasonably priced vegan options in the downtown area, this place should be on your list.
I have no idea why I was the only one there at lunch on a Saturday at first; others rolled in later, but it was super empty. This place has awesome Vietnamese food. My lunch was simple. I had the prawn and pork fresh roll. The dipping sauce was spot on and had a spice I could not identify, but added to the experience. With a dab of their sweet chile sauce, it was divine! My banh mi had a fabulously crusty roll and was filled with porky goodness. There was enough veg to balance things out. The sweet chili sauce went on the banh mi, too, and I have zero regrets. At first, when I examined the banh mi, I thought that I had missed out on the jalapeno, but midway through eating it, it punched up the vegetal heat a significant notch. Yum! I need to go back to taste the pho.
