Westside Cantina

This amazing hidden gem has the best tacos. They clearly mark what is gluten-free and whats not. Everything was flavorful and delicious. They even have a pet friendly patio so your buddy can join your adventure.

Westside Cantina was one of my favorite places we ate while visiting Colorado Springs. I was so glad they had gluten free/vegan options especially the jackfruit quesadilla. It’s so hard to find good gluten free tortillas and the ones they use for the Jackfruit Quesadilla was so good, and didn’t fall apart like other gluten free quesadillas. Also couldn’t believe their Fried Avocado taco was gluten free as well, and had more than enough filling. My hubby got the Jackfruit Barbacoa taco and sweet plantains. Definitely want to come back to Old Colorado city just to eat here again.

Absolutely delicious gourmet tacos in a fun atmosphere to celebrating Lucha culture. Margaritas are also superb - with numerous mezcal options. Practically half of the menu is vegan, with unique tastes to each of the tacos. It can be difficult to choose between the jackfruit, tofu, avocado, or mushroom tacos - all excellent. A bit pricey, but a solid option to get together with friends.
