First time here, we are Just passing through Texas. Everything was super delicious and well plated. It was extremely busy but staff was friendly and food came out faster then i thought. Looks like a popular place but wanted to help provide some food photos. The Food was cooked beautifully. We got the porterhouse, tomahawk pork chop with Chipotle mashed potatoes, brisket burger and mac n cheese burger. I got the street corn, the sauce was delicious spicy, and only complaint out of eveything on the table the shrimp skewer was way to salty. Definitely recommend stopping by, they checked all our boxes for a very nice meal out.
I went with a group of four to the West Texas chophouse and it was good but not great. I tried the poblano soup and it was excellent. They ahi tuna appetizer was a bit salty. One of the steaks wasn’t as rare as was wanted. Two of the party wanted baked sweet potatoes but they were nearly out and so they were disappointingly small. Really, laughably so. Our waitress was hard-working and tried to take care of us but she had a lot of people that she was trying to take care of. After our food was brought out, a leader in a blue shirt came out and told us it would take an additional hour to get bigger sweet potatoes and that he would be glad to adjust the price. We came out at a little before eight on a Friday evening, so the place was packed with a waiting line. The only seating for people waiting was at the bar and that wasn’t the best idea because one might not hear their name called out when a table came available. We noticed that several people combined a small meal with their drinks a
From the outside to when you first walk in, the aesthetics are just beautiful. 5 stars for that alone. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating with our party of 8. Sure we had to wait a little because we had a big party, but everything came out in a reasonable time. The steaks were really great and fulfilling. All the steak dinners come with a baked potato, everything else is ala carte. Yes it’s pricey but definitely worth going to at least once. The wait was very minimal even for our large party of 8.
