West Coast Burgers & Dogs

Ordered my food, sat down and staff completely forgot about me. Waited 30 min (exactly) watched as 6 other tables who came in after me received their meals ate them and left… when I alerted the staff (I think the owner) that I was leaving he said “I’ll make your food right now” ….. I walked out leaving $36 of my money there for nothing!!!! Don’t waste your time. If I could I’d leave no stars.

It was once a good and affordable place to eat, not anymore! Also, the woman working there is not professional at all. We ordered on a Monday night and kids are supposed to eat free. After we got our food I found out from my husband what he paid since she didn’t give us a receipt and she charged for the kids meal. When I went up to her and told her we got charged for the kids meal she basically said there was nothing she could do about it. I told her I wanted a refund and she said she couldn’t do that. The time before that we ordered a kid’s cheeseburger and a shake and got charged for a kids meal, again I had asked her about it and she said there is nothing she can do. I think she probably doesn’t give receipts because she’s hoping you won’t noticed you got overcharged! So, if you eat there be sure to ask for a receipt!! We used to eat at this place all the time and we will never go back now.

Good burgers. But they are tiny. That once was no problem because they were tasty, but affordable. Either when it was called Burger Shack or West Coast Burgers & Dogs as it’s named now, it was just like the real In-And-Out but better. No longer. I had not been in for a few months, but man their prices skyrocketed. I used to go in and get a single bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions and pickles for $6 and a combo for around $10. Today I went in for the first time in a long time and ordered the same as I always get. Told them to make it a combo. “That’ll be $15,” she said (I’m rounding up on the price, it was like $14.75 or something). I thought at first they rang up an extra burger, but no. You can go to Burger Republic a few minutes farther down Nolensville Road and get a much better burger and a bigger meal for only one or two dollars more than what Burgers & Dogs wants you to pay. It seems they now charge you a hefty fee for every topping you add, even if it’s a substitution. Payi
