Wendy's

Honestly, not only the worst Wendys I've ever been to, but one of the worst restaurants in Gainesville, and that says a lot. I've ordered from this location easily a dozen or more times over the years as it's the only thing on my way home, and I dread it every time. More often than not, on those nights I really don't feel like cooking after work, I'll just go to bed without eating. That's how AWFUL this location is. The food is almost always cold or has obviously been sitting under the heat lights versus being made fresh. That's if they even get your order correct. If the food wasn't enough to keep you away, the customer service and lack of hygiene practices will make you want to leave. If you go through the drive thru, the staff will barely acknowledge you and will become visibly irritated if you ask questions. If you go inside, you'll be overwhelmed with the lack of gloves, hair nets, hand washing, etc. Its been clear for years that management does not care about the customers, or

Ordered one junior bacon cheese with only mayo mustard tomatoes and bacon. Didn't get tomatoes or mayo on sandwich. Second sandwich was a junior cheeseburger made the same without bacon. Still no tomatoes or mayo and had onions on it after I specifically asked for no onions. Had to ask them to finish making sweet tea so I could have a drink. Also they were taking only one order at a time in the drive through. I sat at the window and watched them ignore people so they could stand there and gossip instead of taking orders as they come to the drive through speaker. I waited 20 minutes. 15 just waiting for them to take my order. Had to go to work.. didn't have time to go back to fix orders. Will go to a different location next time.

Usually we stop at this Wendy’s for lunch or dinner and the food + service is really great. We had the grands with us this morning and they wanted breakfast so we stopped to go into the dining room which did not open until 9 a.m. we waited until 9:05 which was a 15 min wait to try again only to be told the dining room was not opening due to lack of help. I know the restaurant cannot help lack of help BUT they should post signs on each door letting the public know they won’t open. Waiting 15 min with a hungry 10 and 3 year old seems a lot longer than 15!!!!!
