Wedgefield Golf Club

This course was pretty fun. The greens and fairways are not in the best shape but they are working on them. They were installing new greens on two holes when I played. Prices are great for the quality of the course. Watch out for gators!

Our food was very good. I had fish & chips. Thought I was in England. Chef did a good job. Hannah was very pleasant & attentive. See you soon. Keep up the excellent service.

The course itself right now can't get anything other than 3 stars. A lot of the greens were almost unplayable (I've seen better temporary greens cut on fairways). Especially on the back 9. We played with 2 gentlemen that play here often and they said they only allow 2 putts on many greens because they are that bad (the greens, not the players). The rest of the place gets 5 stars! Great people, great practice area, great food and drinks and fun stuff going on. I would recommend an additional forward tee box as 5400 yards for ladies/seniors is kinda long. I myself found the whites at 6500 yards quite long. The holes are interesting and there aren't any easy pars out there. It seems to cater to the local/ neighborhood crowd, which is a good thing. Give it a try and I don't think you'll be disappointed (just know it's not a "must play") destination course.
