Wayside Family Restaurant

Great little restaurant. Friendly staff. Food was good. Fasr service. First time here. I am told it can get very busy and there is a wait at peak times.

I get the same thing every time i go here the hot roast beef sandwich it is the best i found because they are consistent with the quality never fatty meat or funny taste or texture which i found with other places havent tried much of anything else but you can it should be good if that same standard holds up plus staff is great very friendly

The food tasted horrible. My meatloaf was hard and tasted nothing like meatloaf. My squash was cold even though the bowl was hot. The bread was dry. My mashed potatoes did not even look like mashed potatoes and the lumps were cold. The plates where hot. My husband sat asking "how does one mess up hash and make scrambled eggs look like Sunny side up? Oh because they are sunny side up. " the coffee was virtually colored water. If you enjoy an atmosphere of a vacuum cleaner running the whole time its the place for you. Miserable , unfriendly workers. A guy sleeping in a booth. It was quite the experience. We will not be going back. I would give the food a zero if possible.
