I was never treated in such a manner. I was told that if I was paying credit to go to self serve. People of a different shade of skin from mine weren’t told the same. And when I addressed that I wanted to buy tobacco I should have said something. Regardless I should have been taken at the register after waiting in line like everyone else. When will people see a person for being a person rather than skin color? Never again!
The guy, I believe, an old white male with glasses, possibly" brian" wearing a Wawa uniform doing some maintenance, didn't hold the door for the customer behind him. That's not the Wawa way. That's probably the only place in the Philadelphia area where people extend the courtesy. That's the only thing we have left in Abington/Jenkintown.
Store is clean and hoagies are fresh. The staff is very friendly. I stopped in today for a sandwich and soda. I noticed some new faces, I didn’t see my favorite Terrell. He’s very nice and always makes me laugh. I love this store
