Very friendly staff even though it was busy. Great lunch specials. The cajun roll and spicy salmon rolls I had were very tasty. The soup was just okay, not fantastic. Would like to come back for dinner and try the fancier rolls.
Love them. James is an amazing sushi chef and has recommended several great items I enjoy from time to time (but I still usually order my normal favorites). Every one there is kind and offers great customer service -- they remember is and our typical orders. Kid-friendliness: My kids love the Yaki Soba (noodles, vegetables, and chicken) and the 3 will share 2 orders while the oldest will also enjoy pieces of nigiri sushi. There are other menu items the kids like but this is their staple. They only request other dishes on occasion. One thing they always beg for is the mochi ice cream (mango is the best!) and the texture is perfect.
Ordered spicy ramen online—when it arrived, the noodles were frozen and the soup itself was lukewarm. After warming up, the noodles were of a really odd texture, almost gummy, and left a weird taste in my mouth. They were also extremely bland—not spicy at all. I would have rather eaten the 99¢ cup noodles at the grocery store, especially since the small-portioned ramen was almost $20 after fees. I would not order from here again.
