I lived in China for 10 years. To say that I miss authentic Chinese food is an understatement. Everything I’ve tried here is unbelievable. The xiaolongbao skin is super thin which you can’t find at many places. The shengjianbao is also excellent. Highly recommend this place. It’s what I’m most excited about whenever I’m traveling to Houston for work.
You can't go wrong ordering their classics or even adventuring outside of the usual. We shared all the dishes and they were ALL fantastic! Their sticky rice cubes dessert is a must try.
I absolutely LOVE this dumpling house. I’ve always driven past it and finally I stopped in. All I can say is I wish I would have came in sooner! This is definitely my new favorite dumpling spot in houston. The building seems small from the outside but inside has a bar and lots of intimate seating, which I wasn’t expecting. We ordered the shang-hai chili wraps, pork soup and pork/shrimp soup dumplings, crispy bottom dumplings, and dumplings in red chili. The food was fresh and authentic. 10/10
