Good food and service. The staff wore masks and there are partitions between each table. They also use disposable cups and utensils which might bother some, but it was perfectly fine for us.
I have a soft spot for a 24 hour NYC diner that serves breakfast all day. You don't go for the dining experience although Wahi had big comfy booths and nice outdoor options if you can deal with the traffic of Broadway. You go for crispy home fries, omelettes, waffles, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and French toast. Just what I needed at the end of a long day.
Service wasn’t bad. The staff could be a little friendlier, but I never felt unwelcome. Pictured is the He-Man Special. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. I particularly liked the challah French toast. It never tasted dry. I’ve also ordered take-out from the Diner and the food was great then. This is a good stop for breakfast or if you’re in need of a place to eat near the New York Presbyterian Hospital.
